In the event that all keys for your vehicle have been misplaced, we will require photo ID and proof of ownership tying you to the vehicle. This should be an official document that shows your name and the VIN such as: title, registration, insurance card, bill of sale, or finance paperwork.

Yes! We’re one of the few locksmiths in the St Louis Metropolitan area that welcome customer-provided keys and remotes. Please check in with us first at 314-375-2067 and we’ll make sure you’re ordering the correct item at the best price. Matching the FCCID, transponder chip type, and remote frequency is critical. You can have 2 keys that look identical, but if these criteria aren’t matched perfectly, the key/fob will NOT pair to your vehicle.

Yes! In the early and mid-2000’s aftermarket key and remote technology was a point of contention. They were of questionable quality and were capable of spontaneously losing their programming. In 2024, for most applications, the difference in performance and build quality is minor. In some instances, aftermarket options are even superior to their OEM counterparts. HOWEVER, OEM key and remote manufacturing follows rigid specifications and is highly standardized. Factory keys and remotes are often made by only 1 or 2 companies which hold the license to do so from the vehicle manufacturer. Within the realm of aftermarket, you will find products of low, medium, and high quality. Some vendors are much better than others.

We DO NOT recommend the use of aftermarket remotes for Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota, and Lexus smart/proximity key vehicles.

Yes! We do this at no additional charge with the purchase of a replacement key/fob, or a nominal fee if you already have spares and would simply like the missing key to be deleted from your vehicle’s computer system.

We don’t set appointments! (Crazy right?) We’re an emergency locksmith and roadside assistance service and likewise take calls as we receive them on an emergency basis. Like an ambulance. Simply call us when you have free time with your vehicle, provide the address, then we give you an ETA and book it that way! We triage calls based on level of emergency, with lockouts and lost keys taking priority, and key and remote duplicates coming second. You will always receive same-day service.
